Careers FAQ

In order to be considered for any vacancy, applicants need to register on the Sasol careers website (www.jobs.sasol.com) and apply for the specific positions they are interested in. The portal provides them with the option to register for job alerts based on positions they are interested in applying for, as vacancies are advertised.

All online applications on jobs.sasol.com are reviewed. Should candidates be selected for an interview, the relevant Human Resources Consultant will be in contact. Should applicants not hear from us within 60 days of the advert closing then they should kindly consider their application unsuccessful. Our job openings are updated frequently so please check jobs.sasol.com regularly.

Our automated process evaluates applications based on minimum requirements of the job specification. Automatic disqualification means that based on this evaluation, the application did not meet the necessary criteria to proceed further in the selection process.

We receive a high volume of applications for our positions, which makes the selection process highly competitive. Our recruitment team carefully reviews each application to assess various criteria, including qualifications, experience, skills, and other important factors relevant to the role.

While qualifications and experience are significant considerations, our comprehensive evaluation process also takes into account other criteria such as specific job requirements and the overall needs of our organisation.

We encourage candidates to continue refining their application materials, enhancing their skills, and updating their job profile regularly.

Sasol does not currently offer volunteer positions or programmes.
