Sasol Khanyisa
Sasol Khanyisa
Khanyisa is a word that means to illuminate. It is this concept that we have drawn our inspiration from, designing our new B-BBEE transaction to incorporate what we consider to be the most appropriate and best features.
As a proudly South African corporate citizen, we are committed to contributing meaningfully to redressing the injustices of South Africa’s past. We believe that by creating economic wealth opportunities for previously disadvantaged groups, we can make a difference to all those who call our magnificent country home.
In line with our values, transformation is a business, legal and ethical imperative which we are committed to contributing in a meaningful and sustainable way. Sasol Khanyisa, Sasol’s new Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) ownership structure was launched on 1 June 2018 and has approximately 230 000 shareholders. The transaction will contribute approximately 25% direct and indirect B-BBEE ownership in Sasol South Africa (SSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sasol Limited and our largest operating entity.
