Sasol is on the lookout for tomorrow’s extraordinary leaders
Sasol is on the lookout for 20 young leaders who are able to generate and articulate impactful ideas that can initiate a positive change in their communities and the world in which we live.
Sasol is a proud delegate sponsor of the One Young World Summit that will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre from 2-5 October 2013.
Running in its fourth year, One Young World is a global initiative that hosts an annual summit, bringing together 1,300 exceptional young people to find solutions to local, regional and global challenges.
The One Young World summit creates a platform, by giving today’s bright sparks the opportunity to share wisdom and insights on common challenges that the world is facing. These candidates should be between the ages of 18-30 and must be passionate about global issues.
Applicants from South Africa, Mozambique, Qatar, Nigeria, America and Germany whose community impact is specifically linked to the area of Sustainable Development, Health, Education, Community Leadership, Innovation and Youth Unemployment will be considered.
Sasol will champion those who live permanently, and work or study, in their country of representation. Candidates must be able to prove nationality of the country they wish to represent, and the community impact must be linked to the country in which they live and represent.
“Sasol believes in the strength, courage and talent of young leaders and their ability to implement change in not only their own lives but in the lives of other people. Together with One Young World, we are helping some of the world's most extraordinary young minds get to this year's summit,” said Pamilla Mudhray, Group Community Affairs Manager at Sasol.
