Johannesburg, South Africa - Sasol is expanding access to its premium diesel offering with the rollout of Sasol Turbodiesel ULS 10ppm across 20 participating retail sites in the Western Cape, making one of the cleanest diesel grades available in South Africa more accessible to motorists in the province.
The rollout forms part of Sasol’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with high-quality mobility solutions and helping them make informed fuel choices for their vehicles.
Sasol Turbodiesel ULS 10ppm contains no more than 10 parts per million (ppm) of sulphur and is designed to support modern diesel engine technologies. Compared with higher-sulphur diesel grades, 10ppm diesel supports cleaner engine operation and is compatible with advanced exhaust after-treatment systems found in many newer diesel vehicles.
“At Sasol, we continuously look for opportunities to enhance our customer offering and provide products that meet evolving vehicle technology requirements,” said Pertunia Sibanyoni, Vice President: Mobility and Marketing at Sasol Energy. “Expanding Sasol Turbodiesel ULS 10ppm into the Western Cape gives more customers access to a high-quality fuel option designed to support cleaner engine performance and help them get the most from their diesel vehicles.”
The Western Cape rollout builds on Sasol’s existing inland 10ppm diesel offering and follows the coastal introduction of the product in KwaZulu-Natal in 2024.
Customers will be able to identify Sasol Turbodiesel ULS 10ppm through dedicated pump and grade decals, supported by forecourt branding at participating sites. The product will replace 50ppm diesel at these locations, while customers will continue to earn 30 Sasol Rewards points per litre purchased.
