Johannesburg, South Africa – Sasol today announced the appointment of Walt Bruns as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director of Sasol Limited, effective 1 September 2024.  Walt, a certified chartered accountant in South Africa, is currently CFO of Sasol Southern Africa including Energy and Chemicals.

Johannesburg, South Africa – Sasol Energy Marketing and Sales is partnering with youth health non-profit organisation (NGO), loveLife, to address Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) in Gauteng. This 3-year national initiative focuses on raising awareness and providing care and support to victims in communities near Sasol retails sites, starting in Gauteng in areas including Diepsloot, Alexandra, Tembisa, Honeydew, Mamelodi and Soweto.

Secunda, Mpumalanga – Sasol is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Sasol Mining Fence-line Bursary Programme. This comprehensive, performance-based bursary programme is designed to support exceptional young talent from Sasol Mining’s fence-line communities in the Free State, Mpumalanga, and Sedibeng District Municipality in Gauteng. Sasolburg, South Africa – On Friday, 31 May 2024, just as the cold front was about to hit the Vaal Triangle, Sasol donated 375 blankets to 10 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Metsimaholo that render support to senior citizens and people living with disabilities.

Hamburg (Germany), 29 May 2024 – With the aim of becoming a climate-neutral industrial state, Sasol Germany GmbH, alongside with other industrial companies from the chemical, cement and refinery sectors in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, has joined forces with the state government of Schleswig-Holstein. Today they signed an agreement describing the plans and measures of the individual companies to transform the industry on the west coast and the support of the Schleswig-Holstein state government in achieving the targets.
