Banyana Banyana captain Amanda Dlamini joined the fight against crime as she participated in the remake of Danny K's SHOUT music video. The celebrity music shoot saw South Arica's most renowned celebrities come together to make a difference.
Other sports stars who joined the SHOUT music video remake include: Bafana Bafana striker Bernard Parker, cyclist and motor racer Gugu Zulu, Springbok rugby player Chiliboy Ralapelle and cyclists Arran Brown and Sheridan Morais. Music sensations Danny K and Kabelo were joined by Just Ginger, Liquideep, Flash Republic, Prime Circle and many other South African favorites.
Sasol congratulates Dlamini on being selected to be a part of the SHOUT remake, and hopes that her involvement will encourage other celebrities to use their influence to effect positive change in South Africa. Dlamini led Banyana Banyana to win 12 of 15 games in 2011 and will captain the team as they represent Africa with Cameroon in the London Olympics in July next year.
“As a soccer captain, teamwork is a crucial part of performance. It is an honour for me to join a new, incredible team and work towards a different goal. I hope that with one voice, we can win the battle against crime for a better tomorrow,” said Dlamini.
