Sasol today launched its twelfth external report on the company’s sustainability performance.

• We have again included a detailed review of our core strategy and growth objectives (pages 24-29) and have outlined why we believe the promotion of sustainable development is integral to the achievement of these objectives (pages 20-21).
• We have continued to provide comprehensive quantitative data on our performance throughout the report and in a consolidated data table (pages 60-62) and we have again provided transparent benchmarking of our performance on safety (page 42) and greenhouse gas emissions (page 51).
• The report includes a succinct summary of our performance against our targets (pages 2-3), as well as a table that tracks our progress against our most material sustainability issues (pages 6-8).
• We continue to use the G3 Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to inform our reporting process and to facilitate comparability with other organisations. A response to each of the GRI reporting criteria is available in a separate table in our online report. Our report once again rates as an A+ report in terms of the GRI, verified by an independent assurance provider.
