NATURE OF ILLEGAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES NOTICES

Various types of scam emails and notices on job hunting websites purporting to be from or associated with Sasol have been circulating on the internet in which applicants are requested to submit detailed information and registration fees for training leading to employment or direct employment.

1. Applicants are requested to pay a certain amount to by-pass interview stage and get employment letter.
2. Applicants are requested to pay a certain amount to fast-track an international passport as the job involves travelling outside the country.
3. The illegal communications carry fake email addresses and Sasol logo: e.g. filodo.sasol@tlen.pl; sasoljames@prokonlo.pl; sasolcareers@02.pl.
