Overview
Through proprietary technologies and processes the main products Sasol produces are fuel components, chemical components and co-products. From these main products and further value-adding processes we deliver diesel, petrol (gasoline), naphtha, kerosene (jet fuel), liquid petroleum gas (LPG), olefins, alcohols, polymers, solvents, surfactants, co-monomers, ammonia, methanol, crude tar acids, sulphur, illuminating paraffin, bitumen and fuel oil. Even further processing produces numerous additional products.

Secunda, Mpumalanga – Sasol, today, marked a significant milestone in its journey of infrastructure-led transformation with the official launch of the Sasol N17 Truckstop in Secunda. This state-of-the-art facility is a visionary expression of Sasol’s strategic intent to reimagine mobility and retail in South Africa, through innovation, partnership, and purpose-driven investment.
Situated near Secunda, Mpumalanga, one of Sasol’s operational heartland, this flagship site celebrates 75 years of innovation, progress, and partnership. Designed to support the people who move our economy, the N17 Truckstop redefines the driver's experience through modern infrastructure, safety, wellness, and convenience.
As part of Sasol’s broader commitment to building safe, efficient, and dignified logistics infrastructure, the N17 Truckstop is designed to serve the people who move our economy. It offers a modern, full-service experience for long-haul drivers and fleet operators, featuring wellness clinics, secure overnight parking, entertainment areas, and grooming facilities.
Sasol acknowledged the vital critical role of its partners, including local government, SMMEs, suppliers, and retailer Renee de Waal, her frontline staff and her team of directors, whose customer-centric approach will drive the day-to-day operations of the TruckStop.
