Sasol Chemicals America has an internal human resources and recruiting department. From time to time, Sasol may use the assistance of, placement services or professional recruiters (collectively referred to as “Recruiter”). Such Recruiters are hereby specifically instructed NOT to contact any Sasol employee directly in an attempt to present candidates.
To avoid any confusion and misunderstanding, Sasol will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes sent to Sasol, including unsolicited resumes sent to a Sasol mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to Sasol employees, or to Sasol’s resume database will be considered Sasol property. Sasol will NOT pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. Sasol will consider any candidate for whom the Recruiter has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the company free of any fees.
Prior to presenting candidates, Recruiter must have a valid, fully executed contract for service, approval from Sasol’s recruiting department and must be in response to a specific job opening. Sasol will not pay a fee to any Recruiter that does not have a written and signed agreement in place.
Contracts with Recruiters will only be valid if in writing and signed by an officer of Sasol or his or her designee. No other Sasol employee is authorized to bind Sasol to any agreement regarding the placement of candidates by Recruiter. Sasol hereby specifically rejects and denies any liability under any means other than the signature of a Sasol officer or his/her designee.
