Sasol receives first large-scale renewable electrons from Msenge Emoyeni Wind Farm

Johannesburg, South Africa – Sasol’s first large-scale renewable energy project, Msenge Emoyeni Wind Farm (Msenge), has reached commercial operations. Located in Bedford, Eastern Cape, the 69MW wind farm comprises 16 turbines and is already supplying electrons wheeled through the national grid to Sasolburg Operations in the Free State.

Johannesburg, South Africa – Proudly South African fuel brand, Sasol has announced that South Africa’s cleanest diesel, locally produced fuel, Sasol Turbodiesel ULS 10ppm will be available from selected Sasol fuel stations in Kwa-Zulu Natal from 5 September. Sasol was the first oil company to launch this innovation in South Africa, aligning with its transition towards cleaner fuels.

Bloemfontein Sculptor Miné Kleynhans Wins 2024 Sasol New Signatures Art Competition

Pretoria, South Africa - Miné Kleynhans (34), a project manager at the University of the Free State Art Gallery, has been announced as the winner of the 2024 Sasol New Signatures Art Competition for her installation piece titled Meditations on Resentment. Kleynhans takes home a cash prize of R100 000 and an opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum in 2025.
